Wanhechun, a 86-year-old time-honored brand in Qingdao, has recently unveiled the renovation and upgrade of its second store. With the core concept of “Inheritance and Renovation”, Liu Ke Design Studio has created a dining space that blends historical heritage with contemporary flair by retaining the brand’s traditional elements and incorporating Qingdao’s urban memories.
Wan He Chun, a household name in the city, carries 85 years of culinary heritage and urban memories. As this time-honored brand transitioned from street-side shops to upscale shopping malls, Liu Ke Design Office was commissioned to craft a completely new brand image and spatial experience.
The design arounds the core of “Please take away the gratitude of crossing mountains and rivers in Xinjiang”. Through space creation, it conveys the natural and authentic gifts and cultural connotations of Xinjiang, allowing customers to immerse themselves in the deep affection of the land, and creating a characteristic consumption scene that integrates display, experience, and sales.
